A reworked version of a reel associated with the band Lúnasa (The Merry Sisters of Fate - Morning Nightcap Set) to open the month of March, with an unusual blend of new and old in the instrumentals, and banjo on lead melody

A fast and lively reel here, from the playing of the aforementioned Marion Egan, with a surprisingly suitable horn in lead.
Nothwithstanding the instrumental variation, the tune is a good version for anyone trying to pick up the tune.

A good version here for listeners, for learners, and for anyone looking for the typical energy of an authentic Irish session!
This is a widespread and well-known session polka, with drums, gong, and oboe joining traditional instruments what is the only way this tune can be played. . .listen, and you'll know what I mean. . .

Ophelia's Grave

A rare setting of an unknown reel, for a change. Harpsichord and clavi added to more traditional instruments like the fiddle and accordion lend a strong, powerful sound to this little tune

A sparse, tinkling version of this reel, with soprano recorder, celeste, church organ, synthesiser and vibraphone sounds combining to give a light, easy tone, with a comfortable pace maintained throughout
